The Property

Ten wooded acres, off the main road and up above it all.

Set Apart on Purpose

Saving Hollow sits well back from the main roads, on a rise above the surrounding hills. You leave the highway, then the county road, and by the time you reach your cabin the only traffic is the occasional deer.

We didn't just build cabins here. We shaped the land around them. Every clearing, boardwalk and deck was placed with three things in mind: your privacy, the view, and an easy way into the woods.

Privacy

Only two cabins share the property, each with its own parking area, hot tub and fire pit. Boardwalks, pergolas and carefully planned sight lines keep them out of view of one another, so what you see from the deck is nature.

Views

The land is elevated, so the hills roll out in front of you. Mornings come with mist in the hollow, and the night sky is dark enough for real stargazing.

Nature

Step off the porch and you are in it. Walk the boardwalks, a hike through the pine grove, cast a line in the pond, or relax in a hammock and do nothing at all.

Sunset Point

At the very top of the property you'll find Sunset Point: two separate elevated decks, each with a pair of Adirondack chairs, facing west over the rolling hills toward the end of the day.

Getting there is part of it. A marked trail leaves from the cabins and climbs gradually through the pine grove, and five minutes later you're at the top. Bring a drink and a blanket and head up about half an hour before sundown. It's our favorite spot on the land, and it's reserved for Saving Hollow guests only.
